Mensaje de Ramadán

“Combatiremos sus ataques de odio con canciones de amor. Desde este momento hasta la felicidad.”

En este mes de Ramadán nuestras hermanxs musulmanes celebran la esencia de su fe: misericordia y perdón. Como servidor del espíritu de vida agradezco las enseñanzas de profesorxs y amigxs que me han mostrado otra perspectiva del amor, basada en sus experiencia de vida siguiendo el Sagrado Corán y las enseñanzas del Profeta Muhammad- La paz sea con el.

Le voy a contar todo a Dios./ I will tell God everything

Que has llenado los cementerios con nuestros niños, y desocupado nuestros escritorios escolares/ That you have filled the cemeteries with our children and emptied our school desks.

Que has causado disturbios y has convertido nuestras calles en sitios oscuros.Y que has mentido/ That you have sparked unrest and turned our streets to darkness And that you have lied

Dios conoce perfectamente todos los secretos del corazón/ God has full knowledge of the secrets of all hearts

Yo atestiguo que no hay Dios sino Allah/ I bear witness that there is no God but Allah

Tu, que vienes en nombre de la muerte. El es el creador de vida./ You who come in the name of death. He is the creator of life.

Soy testigo de que Muhammad es el mensajero de Dios./ I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God

El que es paciente y tolerante y no hiere a quienes lo atacan./ The forgiving and forbearing who hurts not those who hurt him

Dios es más grande/ God is greater

Que aquellos que esconden lo que no se ve./ Than those who hide what doesn’t show

Dios es más grande/ God is greater.

Que aquellos que obedecen sin contemplación/ Than those who obey without contemplation

Dios es más grande/ God is greater.

Que aquellos que acechan para engañarnos./ Than those lurking to betray us

Dios es más grande./ God is greater, God is greater, God is greater.

Adora a tu Dios con amor/ Worship you God with love

Con amor no con terror/ With love not terror

Se tolerante con tu fe, tolerante, no fanático/ Be tender in your faith, tender not harsh.

Confronta a tu enemigo con amor, no con guerra./ Confront your enemy with peace, not war

Persuade a otros con misericordia, no con fuerza/ Persuade others with leniency, not by force.

Adora a tu Dios con amor/ Worship your God with love.

Con amor, no con terror. / With love not terror

Se tolerante con tu fe, tolerante, no fanático/ Be tender in your faith, tender not harsh

Confront your enemy with peace not war/ Confronta a tu enemigo con paz, no guerra

Persuade others with leniency , not by force./ Persuade a otros con misericordia, no con fuerza.

Let’s bomb violence with mercy./ Bombardeemos la violencia con misericordia.

Let’s bomb delusion with the truth/ Bombardeemos el engaño con la verdad.

Let’s bomb hatred with love/ Bombardeemos el odio con amor.

Let’s bomb extremism for a better life./ Cambiemos el extremismo por una vida mejor

We will counter their attacks of hatred with songs of love./ Combatiremos sus ataques de odio con canciones de amor.

From now until happiness./ Desde este momento hasta la felicidad.
